Taylor A. Mason is the founder & CEO of Edify Consulting, LLC, which specializes in business improvements and professional development. Being born into a military family, she was exposed to a variety of different cultures, socio-economic conditions, and various methods for money management. Taylor began her educational journey at Hampton University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. She then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from American University where she graduated top of her class.
From Taylor’s collective experience along with other industry professionals, most skills demanded by colleges and employers include the ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, think critically and develop informed responses. Thus Edify Consulting was created to provide the foundation necessary to build confidence and promote lifelong success.
Kagame Li-A-Ping is an innovative young professional on the rise to helping his community move forward in the financial empowerment movement. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Kagame was raised in a Caribbean community where the importance of fiscal responsibility was stressed daily. Kagame has long been a product of public service and corporate work. With experience ranging from working in the Controller’s Office for the City of New York and the New York City Department of Small Business Services, to a more corporate arena such as the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation and Morgan Stanley. Kagame received his Bachelors Degree in Finance at Hampton University. While at Hampton, Kagame was deeply immersed in student life and engagement. His most successful endeavor was serving as the President of the Caribbean Pre-Alumni Council. Kagame has amassed a network of successful professionals in financial services and public policy in hopes of moving his professional agenda of moving communities of low income, inequalities and disparities to the next level by providing financial empowerment through knowledge and awareness. Kagame enjoys traveling, dancing, volunteering, and spending time with close friends. Kagame is currently seeking his Master's Degree in Finance at The University of Baltimore.
Tyler Ware is a marketing professional with experience in sports, education, sales and marketing, and human resource management. He is currently the Founder and CEO at ABAL Sports and HR Coordinator at Greater New York Endoscopy Surgical Center. In May 2017, Tyler received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Hampton University and a master's degree in sports management from Brooklyn College in December 2018. Tyler's ultimate goal is to be an inspiration for young people and use his professional experience and leadership to make an impact in his community. His most recent accolade was being highlighted on Global Kids’ 30 Under 30 Alumni List. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball, engaging in esports and technology platforms, and cooking.
Over the past seven years, Dr. Mason has had the opportunity to work at various higher education institutions in student affairs. Her passion for helping students and love for education led her back to school at Drexel University where she completed her Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Management. Currently Dr. Mason serves as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for South Georgia. Working in higher education, she understands the importance of creating opportunities of access to quality education and helping students step outside their comfort zones to discover new possibilities. Dr. Mason’s ultimate goal is to enhance the student experience, while creating a safe environment that encourages innovative thinking, collaboration, and growth
